Real Madrid vs Valencia Kick off, Live streaming
La Liga match between Real Madrid and Valencia will be played on Saturday, November 11 at Santiago Bernabeu. The kick off is scheduled at 3 pm (ET). Real Madrid and Valencia La Liga match will be live streamed on ESPN+.
Real Madrid is likely to win this exciting contest against Valencia 2-1.
Real Madrid and Valencia CF come into this clash with identical form across the past four matchdays, during which time both sides have collected eight points. Valencia CF haven’t won at the Bernabeu since 2008, but this is a young and energetic Los Che side that is full of confidence, according to reports.
With Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid struggling for consistency and dropping valuable points in recent weeks, lowly Girona have forged ahead and sit alone at the top of the LaLiga standings after a remarkable start to the campaign.
No team in Europe's top five leagues has more points than Girona (31) at this stage of the season, a stunning statistic for a side that has flitted between the top-flight and second tier since Abu Dhabi’s City Football Group acquired 44 percent of the club in 2017.
Real Madrid will be facing Valencia in their next fixture in La Liga. The Carlos Ancelotti-coached side must be eager to topple their arch-rivals Barcelona as the reigning Spanish champions. They are having a phenomenal campaign so far with nine wins in 12 games while acquiring the second position on the league table. In their last match, Real were held to a goalless draw by Rayo Vallecano. The Los Blancos will be looking to get back to winning ways in their upcoming game.
The two football sides will clash at the Santiago Bernabeu on November 12. Valencia are not having an impressive campaign so far with five victories in 12 games. However, they have been undefeated in their last four games in the league, suggesting good form but taking down Real Madrid is going to be one big challenge.
No one seems able to catch Girona, the runaway train dark horses of this season’s campaign who refuse to be budged from top spot in the table. Real Madrid are doing their level best to remain at a close distance and have been the only team capable of leapfrogging the Catalans - as well as the only ones to have beaten them.
Ancelotti’s side have looked consistent and stable since the campaign started, dropping points on just three occasions, twice on the road (Atleti in the derby and Sevilla) and once at home. Last weekend’s stalemate against Rayo was the first time that Los Blancos have failed to score in a game this season.
Apart from that, Madrid have posted nine wins in LaLiga and three in the Champions League where they could rubberstamp their passage to the Last 16 this week.
Valencia got their campaign off to a flying start with victories against Sevilla and Las Palmas but since then, they’ve been erratic to put it mildly. Rubén Baraja’s side have shown they are equally as capable of thrashing Atlético 3-0 as they are losing or drawing against the teams in the bottom half of the table. That inconsistency is partly a rollover from last season, when the team just escaped the drop, drawing both of their last two games.
The squad has changed a lot since then - Baraja has been drafting in younger players with the average age of his squad now at a very youthful 25. Four players graduated from the reserves over the summer: Javi Guerra (20), Diego López (21), Alberto Marí (22) and Fran Pérez (21) - all of whom have been given regular playing time, apart from Marí, the top scorer in pre-season, who underwent surgery in August after suffering a quad tear.
Incidentally, this will be the fourth time they have met in 2023. They came face to face in the Spanish Supercup semi-final in January. That game ended level and was decided from the penalty spot.
Real Madrid have not been beaten at the Bernabéu since last season (to Villarreal, in April) while Valencia have won just once on the road this season. That says a lot about where both teams are at. There was a time when the Ché could give Madrid a good run for their money but those days seem a long way in the past now.
Valencia’s last victory in Chamartín was in March 2008. but they are decent side nevertheless and that’s not to say they cannot take something from this, although it would be a surprise if they did. Madrid are just looking too strong, they have a Jude Bellingham who is going from strength to strength and their new stadium, nearing completion, is more intimidating than ever for visiting teams.
While Madrid were left frustrated by Rayo Vallecano last weekend, Carlo Ancelotti's side produced a convincing performance in Jude Bellingham's absence in midweek as they secured their progression into the Champions League round of 16.
Los Blancos currently sit behind unlikely high-flyers Girona in the table, and the City Football Group-owned club could extend their advantage at the summit to five points before Madrid kick-off.
After endruing a dismal 2022/23 campaign, Valencia have started the new season brightly with Ruben Baraja at the helm. Baraja guided them to safety last season, and they've enjoyed a five-game unbeaten run heading into this fixture.
